Tenchi Forever! | Anime Review

One fine day, as always, Ryoko and Aeka are busy fighting over Tenchi. Tenchi takes a walk into the mountains for a breather, but he never returns.

Six months later, there is still no sign of him. Together, Ryoko and Aeka move to the city and use their time off from work to search for Tenchi.

A chance encounter reveals to them an older, more mature Tenchi with no memory of Ryoko or Aeka. To make matters worse, he seems to have found a new love in the person of Haruna.

A young girl named Sheeta holds what seems to be the key to Laputa in the form of a mysterious pendant she wears around her neck.

The chase is on as to who can possess Sheeta first... and it's up to a young man named Pazu to protect her.

Shortly after Ray gets the steam ball, strange men who claim they were sent by the foundation Ray's father and grandfather are working for try to coerce Ray into giving it to them.

Ray's grandfather suddenly appears out of nowhere and orders Ray to flee and take the steam ball to a man named Robert Stephenson. A bewildered Ray escapes with the steam ball... not knowing where he's going or what's going to happen next.

Chihiro is a 10-year old girl who's supposed to move to a new house with her mom and dad. Chihiro's dad makes a wrong turn somewhere and the three find themselves in front of a mysterious tunnel with a stone statue blocking their path.

Chihiro and her folks walk through the tunnel and find themselves in a quaint little town surrounded by lush greenery. Chihiro's parents spot a fully stocked food stall and promptly start eating, but Chihiro decides to go off and wander around town.

Upon Chihiro's return, she is horrified to see that her parents have turned into pigs... and she has no idea how to turn them back into humans again. To top it off, Chihiro is stuck in a place where human beings aren't supposed to go to... with only an enigmatic boy named Haku as her guide.
