Battle Skippers are state-of-the-art combat robots which are controlled by the
Exstars, a group of five young schoolgirls who fight in the name of good. In school, the Exstars make up the Etiquette Club.
The Etiquette Club is the sole rival the Debutante Club, an elite organization
comprised of the wealthiest and most talented students at the St. Ignacio
School for Girls.

include eventually ruling the world...
Battle Skipper Anime Review
Battle Skipper (Bishoujo Yuugekitai Battle Skipper) is a three-episode OAV series which is reminiscent of Studi
Gonzo's "Melty Lancer", albeit the former is somewhat better done.
The Exstars is a vigilante group which consists of teenage schoolgirls
piloting high-tech mechs called Battle Skippers.
They do the usual crime-fighting stuff like stopping bank robbers, but they
run into more trouble when Sayaka Kitaoji sets her sights on acquiring the
technology behind the Battle Skippers.
Not much can be said about Battle Skipper review.
The series unfolds in a straightforward manner, with Sayaka Kitaoji doing
everything in her power to get what she wants. She commands her lackeys to do her bidding, but quite predictably fails in
putting one over the Exstars.
The plot and characters don't have any impact whatsoever. I was already forgetting most of the main characters' names a short while
after I had finished watching the series.
The art and animation are above average. Character designs are pretty good and perhaps the only downside is how much
Saori resembles Usagi Tsukino of "Sailormoon".
Before the girls get into their Battle Skippers, each of them gets a
transformation sequence of the magical girl kind where they twirl in the air,
lose their clothes for a bit, and then get adorned in their Exstars costume.
Although the girls get into a lot of skirmishes with the enemy I don't really
recall any exceptional fighting scenes.
Battle Skipper anime is altogether quite watchable and easy to follow. It lacks any real depth and dimension, but it's neither bad nor good.
What you
see is what you get. I wouldn't recommend it though.
